The Green Gate is committed to protecting your privacy. This page explains what data is collected, why, and how you can control it.

When you subscribe to The Green Gate, your email address and any optional information you provide are stored by Ghost, our publishing platform, on servers located within the European Union. This data is used solely to send you the newsletter you subscribed to and to produce aggregate analytics on open and click rates that help improve the publication. Your email address is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties.

The Green Gate uses Ghost's built-in email tracking to measure whether newsletter emails are opened and whether links within them are clicked. This data is aggregated and used for editorial decisions only. You can disable tracking by configuring your email client to block remote images.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every newsletter email. Unsubscribing immediately stops further emails; your email address is retained in The Green Gate's records for compliance purposes but is no longer used for any active communication.

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, reply to any newsletter email or contact Tarik Meliani directly.

The Green Gate does not use cookies on its website beyond those strictly necessary for Ghost's subscription and authentication features. No analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking are used.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the newsletter.
